Susan
Ksiezopolski is a dedicated civil servant working within
the Ontario Public Service (OPS) since 1982. In addition
throughout university her work placements were within
public service organizations at the Federal and
Provincial level. She has held progressively responsible
positions within various program area line Ministries as
well as within the Information and Information
Technology Clusters and most recently with the
Modernization Division, HROntario at the Ministry of
Government Services.
Susan is currently the Acting Director of the Project
Management Centre of Excellence (PMCoE), a corporate
centre of excellence providing project management
standards, training and support across the Ontario
Public Service. It is there that her passion for project
management is supporting the ongoing development of a
project culture within the OPS through the development
of practical resources, offering advice and guidance,
and cultivating knowledge sharing and learning.
She is also an avid volunteer and participates as a
Board member on the Canadian Project Excellence Board,
and on the Project World Board of Advisors. In addition
she volunteers of her time to speak at Project
Management Institute Chapter meetings and conferences.
In addition to holding a Bachelor of
Arts from Ryerson University, Susan is also a certified
Project Management Institute - Project Management
Professional (PMP®), and holds a Master’s Certificate in
Project Management from the George Washington University
School of Business. She is also a PRINCE2 Certified
Registered Practitioner and has completed the Leading
Strategic Change Executive Program at Rothman School of
Business.
Susan enjoys spreading the spark and love of project
management and has for the last two years been
associated with the Queens’ OPS Amethyst Fellowship in
teaching project management to the Masters’ students.
