Bill had a long and successful prior career in IBM, mostly in Project / Process Management and eventually sharing his experiences with the business world through the IBM Corporate Learning & Development programs.

Since 1992 he has owned and managed VISTA Learning Services in Unionville, specializing in the development of interactive learning methodologies and the production of hands-on learning tools.

The Bridge Game is his favorite, as it is strongly focused on the human aspect of Project and General Business Management. He works with business professionals on a global scale, who are using this tool for employee soft skills development at all levels.

Throughout his extensive business career he has learned that no matter what business you’re in .., it’s your people who will make it … or break it for you. Simple as that!

He is a strong advocate of 'experiential' learning, and the Bridge Game has a proven track record of 12 years as the perfect fit for the PM Learning Professional.

Bill is a very dynamic and high energy facilitator, letting you learn with a smile on your face.  His personal workshops have been highly rated by a variety of private industries and governments throughout North America, Caribbean and Europe, and he has been the keynote presenter at many PMI Chapter meetings with repeat invitations.

Presentation synopsis

Here is a unique opportunity for you to see the renowned Bridge Game Workshop in action. It’s a highly interactive and quickly engaging work simulation where “experiential” learning is the key ingredient.  It’s a life-like journey through a typical business project, where teams compete to build a bridge while coping with ever changing customer demands, internal people and materials problems, lack of good management and poor leadership.  Sounds familiar?

Participants learn through their own mistakes in a harmless, uninhibited environment and thus allowing them to assess their own strong and weak traits, as well as those of their peers.  It’s a great developer of effective communication and strong people skills in general, and you couldn’t ask for a more effective ice breaker.

The Bridge Game is a generic soft skills tool for “People learning to work with People”, the greatest challenge facing most organizations today.  Teamwork, Personal Leadership, Change Management and Client Driven Focus are the key ingredients in this session.  It’s a fast paced, non threatening learning environment with some “highly productive fun” enjoyed by all age groups, ranks and gender.

Purposely designed as a ‘mini-project’, the Bridge Game has a natural appeal for Project Managers getting their teams ready for the task.  Numerous Learning Professionals in a variety of public and private sector industries around the world are already benefiting from this unique learning methodology.  Please join us to assess how this could work for you.
